A new lab with deep roots and a long view.
Jamaica Artificial Intelligence Labs (JAI Labs) is a new consultancy and development studio with one goal: help Jamaican and Caribbean organisations use artificial intelligence well, without the hype and without needless spending.

We’re a small business. Is AI really for us?
Yes. Many of the most useful AI tools are affordable and quick to adopt. We help you find a few high‑impact, low‑cost wins first, such as automating repetitive admin or answering common customer questions, before you consider any larger investment.
Do we need a lot of data to get started?
Not always. Many modern AI solutions work with the documents and information you already have. Our readiness assessment shows exactly what you have, what you need and the most practical way to close any gaps.
How do you protect our data and privacy?
Privacy is built into every engagement. We design solutions with Jamaica’s Data Protection Act in mind, limit access to what’s needed, and can deploy AI privately in your own cloud or on‑premises so sensitive information never leaves your control.
Will AI replace our staff?
Our approach is to augment people, not replace them. The best results come from giving your team tools that remove tedious work so they can focus on customers, decisions and creativity. Training and change management are part of every project.
Are you tied to a particular AI vendor?
No. We’re vendor‑neutral and recommend whatever fits your needs, budget and risk profile best, whether that’s a commercial platform, an open‑source model or a mix of both.
